A Little About Us:

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses simple math, writing and reading aloud exercises as an intervention to improve cognitive function in those with Alzheimer's Disease. Backed by many research studies, we are motivated to make a difference in our community using techniques that are clinically proven to make a change.

Our Founder

"Not only does the Brain Exercise Initiative hope to improve the memory of those suffering from Alzheimer’s but we also create an invaluable, all-too-rare avenue for intergenerational service, discussion, and collaboration."

Esin Gumustekin - Founder, UCLA Parent Chapter
